  • BUILDING CODE OF AUST (SECTION J) ENERGY CERTIFICATION

    • We can ensure your new building design complies with the Building Code of Australia’s ‘Section J’ energy efficiency requirements

  • NABERS ACCREDITED ENERGY RATINGS

    • We can assess your commercial building under the NABERS rating system and calculate your official NABERS Star rating for energy and water. As an outcome of this Partners Energy can also provide consultancy advice on reducing energy and water use.

  • ENERGY AUDITS & ASSESSMENTS (level 1,2,3 AS/NZS 3598:2000)

    • We can conduct an energy review of your business or building to work out where your power is being used and suggest practical solutions to reduce energy use and save electricity

Building Energy Efficiency Certificates for the Commercial Building Disclosure Program

  • THE COMMERCIAL BUILDING DISCLOSURE PROGRAM (CBD)

    • - is a mandatory national program designed to improve the energy efficiency of large office buildings. The scheme commenced in a transitional capacity in November 2010 and has moved to full disclosure beginning on 1st November 2011.
    The scheme aims to ensure that meaningful, credible energy efficiency information regarding a building's performance is given to prospective purchases and leasees of large commercial premises (> 2,000sq m). Details can be found at www.cbd.gov.au
    What needs to be disclosed?
    The scheme requires the disclosure of a Building Energy Efficiency Certificate (BEEC) which comprises the following:
    1. The NABERS Energy Star Rating for the building
    2. A tenancy lighting assessment
    3. Advice on improving the building's energy efficiency
    Only CBD accredited assessors area are able to apply for BEEC's which are valid for 12 months and must be included in any advertisements for the lease or sublease of the office space.

  • BASIX CERTIFICATES - ( NEW BUILDINGS)

    • Building Sustainability Index -BASIX is a tool used by development applicants to ensure new homes meet NSW Government’s strict new standards for energy and water.
    Partners Energy has completed over 2,000 BASIX certificates since Star Ratings were introduced in 2004. We also trained the Building Industry on BASIX regulations

  • HABITAT PARTNERS - HOME SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENTS - (EXISTING BUILDINGS)

    • Partners Energy can provide home sustainability assessments using the Habitat Partners program . We visit your home, analyse your electricity, gas and water accounts and recommend ways to reduce your energy use with the aim of reducing the rising cost of your utility bills.http://www.habitatpartners.net.au/

    • Partners Energy can design, supply and install solar systems for your home or business. Our company director Rob Mitchell is accredited by the Clean Energy Council for solar system design and install. Rob is also a qualified electrician with over 30 years experience.

We are regularly invited to speak at seminars, conferences and workshops Australia wide for industry associations and on behalf of government. We are only too happy to share our knowledge that has been developed over 30 years experience in the electricity and sustainability industries.

    Partners Energy has fully qualified electricians (level 2 accredited service provider) with experience in air-conditioning, data and communications, photovoltaic (solar) system design and installation. Our electricians work on all types of residential and commercial projects including Clipsal C-Bus smart wiring systems.
